Preparation
These details decide whether we can calculate straight away or have to ask first. Complete is better than fast – the time a query costs is lost between two inboxes.
Name the unit – basket strainer, duplex strainer, witch hat strainer or line blind. Add the nominal size and the pressure rating or operating pressure.
Tell us the medium, its temperature and the flow rate. These determine the material and the design.
Mesh size or perforation – or, if you do not know: what is to be retained. From this, we derive a range.
Flange, thread or special connection. Also state whether an inspection certificate or an acceptance inspection is required. This must be settled before manufacturing.
A drawing or a photo always helps. We can use PDF, STEP, DWG or DXF directly; a mobile phone photo of the installation point or the old part often says more than a description. For large files, send us a download link – or ask briefly and we will tell you the best way.
Next steps
Usually on the next working day. If clarification is more complex – special alloy, drawing review, inspection – you will first receive a short interim message.
We ask for what is missing and propose a design. For custom designs, we send an approval drawing.
You receive the quotation with price and delivery date. After your approval, the documents for order processing follow.
Cutting, welding, testing, documentation – then the consignment goes to your delivery address.

Usually within one working day. For technical queries – special design, material, pressure rating, drawing review – clarification may take longer; you will then promptly receive a short status update so that you are not left in uncertainty.
Yes, that is the rule rather than the exception. Special installation situation, different screen area, special materials, gasket variants, high pressures or temperatures – send us the key data; we check feasibility and recommend a design.
PDF and data sheets, STEP or STP for 3D models, DWG and DXF for 2D drawings. Phone photos of the installation point or the old part are sufficient. For large files, send a download link.
Our offer is aimed at companies, trade businesses and public-sector clients. We do answer enquiries from private individuals, but many of our units are designed for industrial use – for small nominal sizes, we will tell you openly if another solution makes more sense.
That is usually enough for us. Outside diameter, height, mesh size and material are sufficient for a spare part – or you send us the old part as a sample. More on this under Spare parts.
